Stage 3 Regathering – August 18, 2020
Grace Community Church will begin Stage 3 of our regathering plan in early September. We are grateful to be able to move forward with ministry in the fall. Below is a brief summary of how we got here and where we are going.
WHERE WE HAVE BEEN
On May 25th, the church began Stage 1. Sunday morning worship services remained cancelled but small groups were provided the option to meet in person.
On June 14th, the church began Stage 2. Sunday morning worship services resumed in-person. The church began livestreaming these services.
In the first half of September, the church will begin Stage 3. Sunday morning worship services will continue in-person and will be livestreamed, and Sunday School will not resume at this time.
Nursery will be provided for ages 0 to 2 years old during the Worship Services. Pastor Jason will continue to provide parents with discipleship content for their children each week.
Youth will resume an in-person worship gathering on Wednesday evenings in the Chapel. D-Groups will be online afterwards. On Sunday nights, 4:12 and 31:30 will resume in-person at the church.
An online Adult Discipleship Study will launch on Sunday evening, September 13th. Community Groups and small groups will resume meeting in a hybrid format of online and in-person, depending on the group, in September.
Specifics about each of these ministry activities will be communicated soon, including times, registration information, and health guidelines.
This Stage 3 plan will continue through the fall until we move into the new building. We will continue to evaluate, adapt, and communicate about ministry programming at that time.
