Why South Asia?

Throughout the Scriptures, God shows us that he desires for all people to see his glory. Matthew 28:18-20 tells us to make disciples of all nations, and the apostle Paul describes the dilemma of people without a witness:

“How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!'” Romans 10:14-15

South Asia is a place that lacks the gospel of Christ. Many people there have yet to hear the name of Jesus, let alone the message of his gospel. We are partnering with the International Mission Board in this strategic area to bring the hope of Christ. There is currently an open door to share the gospel, and we feel it is important to take advantage of the opportunity God has given us.

Ways to Serve:

  • Go on a short-term trip to South Asia. We work with local Christians and friends of Grace who are doing mountain outreach and evangelism. Contact Justin Tucker for more information.
  • Pray for South Asia. You can use the IMB Prayer Guide to help you. Attend Grace’s monthly Missions Prayer Gatherings to pray for specific needs and people connected with our missionaries in this area (contact Jenna Ray for details).
