Why Tennessee Baptist Children’s Home?

Tennessee Baptist Children’s Home (TBCH) ministers the love of Christ to children and families in crisis. TBCH began in 1891, moved to their current Brentwood location in 1911, and now serves as a licensed foster care agency. There are 5 TBCH campuses across the state, reaching approximately 200 children per year. TBCH walks alongside families going through crisis and cares for the children involved.

Ways to Serve:

  • Work Days – Volunteers of all ages can help with various clean up and maintenance jobs around their Brentwood campus. There is also a need for lead volunteers to help coordinate specific workday projects. Contact Jeff McGinnis for more information.
  • Adopt a Cottage – Gather a group together and adopt a family cottage. A cottage is comprised of 8 kids who are being cared for by a live-in family. Your group would partner with a cottage for a year by getting to know them, sharing in their lives, and praying for them.
