The youth ministry at Grace Community Church seeks to build up spiritually healthy teenagers by connecting them to other believers, equipping them with God’s word, and sending them into service in the Church and the world.
On Sunday mornings at 9:30am, students spend time studying the Bible and fellowshiping together.
6th Grade students meet in the modular building A and are taught by Lori Ann Bender and Steve & Diane Weaver.
7th-8th Grade students meet in the modular building B and are taught by Jon & Jen Howe, Nathan Curtis, and Tiffany Fykes.
9th-12th Grade students meet in the Great Commission Room and are taught by Josh Hussung and Ben Shive.
On Wednesdays from 6:30-8:15pm during the school year, students meet in discipleship groups at Grace for fellowship, Bible study and prayer. This is a time for students to get more connected with one another and study God’s word together. Parents of youth and younger children also meet in their respective small groups during this time. During the summer, discipleship groups take a break and a weekly Bible study is held at Grace.
4:12 and 31:30 Groups
4:12 and 31:30 are Bible studies for High School students about what it means to be a godly man (4:12) or a godly woman (31:30). 4:12 is led by Josh Hussung and Chase Kemp. 31:30 is led by Laura Hussung and Laura Wheeler. They meet at Grace during the school year on Sunday nights from 6:00-7:30pm. Contact Josh Hussung for more information.
Each month, students have opportunities to fellowship with other middle school or high school students. For dates and information about these fellowships, use the Youth at Grace mobile web app or contact Josh Hussung.
