Life at Grace – The Joy of Serving

Life at Grace – The Joy of Serving

One of the greatest memories I have as a new believer was when I led a group of junior high students in a Bible study every Sunday night. We would sit around the Word of God, encourage one another, and pray. Serving these students taught me a lot about my own growth in Christ. In addition to my own growth, this service brought me tremendous joy in knowing I was helping those young students pursue God.

At Grace Community Church, I have seen first-hand how dedicated our church body is to serving one another. The Bible is clear that the ministry of the church is not up to one person, or a select group of “highly gifted” individuals, but the entire body plays a role. You play a vital role. Whether you serve on Sunday mornings or throughout the week, out in front or behind the scenes, our body values you and your service.

If you are a Grace member, we would love for you to prayerfully consider how God could use you in the life of our church. This spring we are making you aware of areas where you can serve in our children’s ministry, youth ministry, Sunday morning worship, and adult discipleship ministries. Please visit our Serve at Grace web page to learn more and volunteer.

Grace’s mission is to build up spiritually healthy people for life and ministry in the world, and as we all serve together we begin to see this mission fulfilled. What a joy to see the body of Christ serving one another to the glory of God!
